Gonzalo Verdugo Deimel is a 47 year old Chilean therapist, masseur and reflexologist. He has spent the last 25 years of his life studying, discovering and offering the art of intuitive massage to all types of people.

He lives most of the time in Santiago, Chile, where he lives in a self-sustainable commune within the city by the mighty Andes Mountains. He has four children, is currently certifying himself as a Waldorf teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School in Santiago, Chile.

Gonzalo has been offering these types of immersion workshops for a number of years in his home to people from all over Chile, Spain, Germany, Finland, and other countries.

Gonzalo is also a renowed leader in aromatic smoke (or sahumerio in Spanish), using this cleansing art for a number of years during festivals, gatherings and private events. Gonzalo is one of the few non-indigenous people who has been expressly authorized by the tribe to use and bring the art of sahumerio to others. He is also a painter, artist, filmmaker and film teacher.

In the field of massage, Gonzalo has been trained by Chile’s finest reflexologists, Claudette Duchesne and Noelle Hassmann. Claudette learn the art of natural medicine from Manuel Lezaeta Acharán, who is widely known in the natural health world of Latin America as the foremost authority of the subject since the 1930’s.

His massage techniques come mainly from Eunice Ingham (USA) and Hanne Marquardt (Germany).
